Subject: End of Life Announcement for CA Software Asset Manager

CA Technologies, a Broadcom company, is continually working to improve CA software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. To focus our development efforts and to help our customer base achieve their strategic business initiatives, we are investing our resources in new technology and software and will be discontinuing technical support on CA Software Asset Manager.  In accordance with the terms and conditions, guidelines, and parameters of Broadcom’s support program, documented in the Broadcom Support Maintenance Policy Handbook, please consider this email your written notification of End of Life for CA Software Asset Manager. This notification means CA Software Asset Manager will no longer be enhanced and maintenance and technical support will be discontinued effective 31st May 2022.  After 31st May 2022, Broadcom will continue to make self-service support available until the end of your current maintenance term.

CA Technologies does not plan to offer a replacement product for CA Software Asset Manager. ‘Aspera SmartTrack/License Management’ and CA Software Asset Manager are functionally equivalent solutions. If you still wish for support after your maintenance term with Broadcom ends, we recommend that you work directly with USU Solutions (previously Aspera) for the continuation of maintenance and support by moving to Aspera SmartTrack maintenance.
