Subject:  General Availability Announcement for Layer7 OAuth Toolkit (OTK) 4.6.2

The Layer7 product group of Broadcom's IMS division is pleased to announce that the Layer7 OAuth Toolkit (OTK) version 4.6.2 is now available! This milestone provides enhancements based on customer feedback. Congratulations to the team for reaching this important milestone while continuing to provide important enhancements to our customers!

Here are the highlights of the Layer7 OTK 4.6.2 release:

• Support for DB connections for read-only replicas - provides the ability to separate read vs. write DB connections for improved scalability in cross-region cloud architectures. 
• Client JWT validation routing customization improvements - provides more flexibility in customizing Client JWT validation such as allowing the ability to support the use of a proxy server in routing.
• Enhanced Token Deletion to Allow for High Priority Tokens - enhances token issuance by allowing priorities to be assigned to tokens to ensure lower priority tokens are removed first when reaching the limit on the allowed number of  tokens.
• Cassandra improvements to not require case sensitive searches - overcomes the limitation of Cassandra preventing case insensitive searches.
• Provide SMSession Authentication Support - includes SiteMinder smsession support out of the box with the OTK while maintaining the ability to customize the integration as needed.
• OTK Container Installation Improvements - accelerates the process of getting OTK up and running by providing a single Helm chart that allows the OTK and associated DB schema/data to be installed in a single command.
• Allow FAPI profiles to be defined per-client application - enhances the previous FAPI capabilities by allowing FAPI profile conformance to be configured on a per-client application basis.
• Oracle Partitioning Support - extends the previously supported partitioning to Oracle databases to provide improved performance for token deletion.
• Support of Common Cloud MySQL Platforms - expands cloud DB support to AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure DB, Percona DB XtraDB Clusters, MariaDB Galera Clusters, and AWS Aurora
• Solution Kit install without Requiring GW restart - optimizes the OTK installation by removing the need for a gateway restart when using Layer7 API Gateway 11.0 and higher.
• Support for Cassandra 4 - updates Cassandra support to 4.x when using Layer7 API Gateway 11.0 and higher.
